Just got started on my xmas knits I'm right in the middle of a Thomas the Tank engine jumper and the crochet Tansy Wrap from the knitter. No idea if I will get them all done in time! The list seems to get longer every year.

Is anybody else finding it to hot to knit. I've had to put down the chunky Fair Isle jumper I'm knitting for my husband it's just too hot to knit that. So I've started a new textured play blanket for my youngest but even knitting in DK is hard going.

Life is settling down a bit with the little one and I've even managed to start knitting again. New to the website www.woolnstuff.co.uk this month is Twilleys Freedom Spirit Knitting Yarn. I can highly recommend this yarn after knitting a jumper for my husband last year with Freedom Spirit, it really was a pleasure to knit.

Well the baby is finally home now after 3 weeks in the scbu unit so life is pretty crazy at the moment haven't had chance to pick up my knitting in ages. Although the new Sirdar Baby Crofter DK Knitting Yarn is very tempting just need to find the time!

I've been for the first scan and bump is just fine. I've got a huge pile of xmas knits on the go and I just don't know how I'm going to get it all done in time. Think I should have started a bit earlier then what I did!

I got my wedding dressed sorted out and paid the deposit, only problem is we are know expecting a baby on the exact day we were due to get married. So it looks like getting the baby patterns out, my Auntie already has!

I've certainly had a strange old day today. Had a visit from a rep this morning and went crazy buying yarn for my website www.woolnstuff.co.uk and then spent the rest of the day trying on wedding dresses. I'll I've got to do is choose, not quite sure how I'm going to do that though.

Well after a very lovely weekend at the caravan with plenty of sunshine and midges its back to reality. Is it just me or has it been to hot to knit recently?

Hi all,

I've been knitting since I was a kid after a far few years of no knitting I picked my needles up again last year. All started off because my other half was complaining his head was cold when we walked the dogs. So I knitted him a hat which Jack the rather stupid blonde lab promptly stole and chewed big holes in it. Since then I've not put my needles down, I knitted a shawl for a christmas present (i'm not knitting with lace weight ever again!!!) and then moved on to making a blanket and most recently a jumper.

I'm that hooked i'm in the process of setting up my own business. I'm sure you can guess what I'm going to be selling?
